Tour Dates | Alabama Shakes Announce Spring Tour

It’s been a quiet year thus far for blues-rockers Alabama Shakes on the live front, but that will change in April when they hit the road for their first tour of the year. Brittany Howard and the fellas will mix festival appearances with headlining dates. The quartet on currently at work on a new album.

The band’s touring activity is currently set to start with a pair of two-night stands at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC on April 25-26 and The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC on April 28-29. Then, The Shakes kick off a string of festival appearances at Jazz Fest in New Orleans, the Suburbia Festival in Plano, TX and Beale Street in Memphis. From there, the group finishes off the tour with headlining shows in Northfield, OH; Pittsburgh and Richmond along with a slot at Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Festival.

A pre-sale for the newly-announced headlining shows starts at noon ET tomorrow, February 28, via the band’s ticketing site.
