Toubab Krewe Lays Out Hot AF Tour Dates 2023

Shira Elias serves as special guest for a four-night run to end the fall trek that includes a hometown show in Asheville, North Carolina.

Genre-defying quintet Toubab Krewe will soon embark on a run they’ve dubbed the “Hot AF Tour.” The Asheville, North Carolina-based band will mix festival appearances and headlining shows spanning September 8 through December 15 with vocalist Shira Elias (Turkuaz, Cool Cool Cool) joining as support for the final four concerts.

Toubab Krewe kicks off the trek with sets at CultureFest in Pipestem, West Virginia tomorrow (Friday, September 8) and at High Street Sounds in Barbourville, Kentucky on Saturday, September 9. Next comes a headlining gig in Atlanta on September 21 and a slot underground at The Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee on September 22 as part of the Subterranea lineup.

A month-long break ends with a show in Summerfield, North Carolina on October 21. Toubab Krewe then heads to New Orleans on October 27 and follows with a swing through the Northeast November 16 – 19 that includes stops in Ithaca (New York), Turners Falls (Massachusetts), Manchester (New Hampshire) and Waterbury (Vermont).

The tour resumes two weeks later in Florida with a two nights in Key West December 7 and 8 as well as concerts in Jupiter on December 9, Miami on December 10 and Jacksonville on December 13. Shira Elias comes aboard to open in Jacksonville. Elias also supports in Charleston on December 14, Raleigh on December 15 and in Toubab Krewe’s hometown of Asheville on December 16 to close the excursion.
