Tool & Primus To Headline Monster Mash Halloween Show

Yesterday Tool teased fans about a coming announcement. While Tool fans held out hope the announcement would be of the band’s long awaited new studio album, it appears the announcement is in reference to a Halloween concert headlined by the California band.

As pointed out by Phoenix New Times, Tool will headline Monster Mash on October 31 at Tempe Beach Park in Tempe, Arizona. Primus and Coheed & Cambria are also on the lineup with “special guests TBA.” Last September Tool drummer Danny Carey replaced Primus drummer Tim Alexander for a few shows while Alexander recovered from a heart attack.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 26 at 10 a.m. PT via the event’s website. For now, this is the only Tool show on the books for 2015.
