Todd Stoops Guests With The String Cheese Incident

Last night, The String Cheese Incident concluded a two-night stand at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. The band was joined by a special guest to end the first set as they welcomed Todd Stoops of Kung Fu & RAQ for a sizzling take on “Rosie.”

Stoops shared the keyboard setup with SCI’s Kyle Hollingsworth on “Rosie” and was urged on for “more! more!” by Bill Nershi as he took a clavinet solo. Our friends at Live For Live Music shared a clip:

Wednesday night’s show also included a triple encore that included covers of Hank Ballard’s “Tore Up Over You,” Paul Simon’s “Under African Skies” and bluegrass favorite “Whiskey Before Breakfast.” The String Cheese Incident now heads to Portland, Maine to kick off a two-night stand at The State Theatre tonight.
