Tim Heidecker Shares Melancholy Holiday Song ‘Santa Claus Is Crying’
“Try slipping it into your Christmas Mix this year and see what happens!”

Comedian/actor/singer-songwriter Tim Heidecker released an original holiday song. Heidecker’s witty “Santa Claus Is Crying” gives Father Christmas a pessimistic view on the children of the world.
The single comes on the heels of High School, an excellent full-length studio album the versatile Heidecker released back in June. embarked on an extensive tour in support of the LP. A live EP arrived last month featuring four songs recorded on August 9 at the Boulder Theater in Colorado.
“Here’s a little treat for you, a brand new holiday classic,” Heidecker wrote in a note accompanying the track. “Try slipping it into your Christmas Mix this year and see what happens!” Tim was accompanied on “Santa Claus Is Crying” by Dan Mulcahy.
