Tim Heidecker has a message in his newly shared single for the character Tiny Tim from Charles Dickens’ holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. The track, “Hey, Tiny Tim,” was recorded by Heidecker with Madison Cunningham, Drew Erickson and Jon Wurster.
Heidecker worked through “Hey, Tiny Tim” on the most recent episode of his Office Hours Live podcast. Cunningham played electric guitar, Erickson played keyboards and Wurster was on drums, backing Heidecker on acoustic guitar and lead vocals. The holiday-themed Office Hours episode included Cunningham singing “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.”
“Hey, Tiny Tim” offers another side of the Christmas Carol story, with lyrics imploring the ill son of Bob Cratchit to give Ebeneezer Scrooge a break.
