Thundercat Performs NPR ‘Tiny Desk Concert’

Earlier this year acclaimed bassist/producer Thundercat released his latest studio album Drunk. Thundercat recently brought his band to NPR’s offices for a just-issued installment of NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert video series.

The man born Stephen Bruner, who is also known for his work on Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly, led his group through three songs. Bruner, Dennis Hamm, Justin Brown and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson wound up performing “Lava Lamp,” “Friend Zone” and “Them Changes” at Bob Boilen’s desk. Watch Thundercat’s Tiny Desk Concert:
