Throwback | My Morning Jacket Teams With Eddie Vedder

In 2006, My Morning Jacket opened a number of shows both stateside and in Europe for Seattle rockers Pearl Jam. At many of those shows, Pearl Jam lead singer Eddie Vedder helped MMJ kick off their set with gorgeous renditions of The Band classic “It Makes No Difference.”

One of those instances took place in Pistoia, Italy on September 20, 2006. The best fan-shot footage of the Eddie/MMJ “It Makes No Difference” comes from that show courtesy of PearlJamOnline.it. Watch how it went down:

My Morning Jacket paired with Vedder for seven versions of “It Makes No Difference” in 2006 and then mothballed the song until their 2010 run at Terminal 5 in New York City. Eddie also teamed with the Louisville rockers on a hard-hitting cover of The Who’s “A Quick One (While He’s Away)” on September 19, 2006 in Turin, Italy. Watch pro-shot footage of that performance:
