This Day Forward Announces 1st Shows In 20+ Years

The hardcore band will reunite for a pair of concerts in August.

This Day Forward scheduled their first concerts since 2003. The hardcore band from the Philadelphia area will reunite for a pair of concerts in August.

“It’s happening!,” This Day Forward posted on social media. “After 20+ years since the last This Day Forward show we have decided to get together and share some time together with each other and with you.”

This Day Forward will play their first reunion show in Philadelphia at Underground Arts on August 24. The band will also perform in New York City at The Bowery Ballroom on August 25.

This Day Forward formed in the Philly area in 1996 and released their debut album, Fragments of an Untold Story Born by Shunning the Opportunity. The band’s third and final album to date, In Response, was released in 2003. Their last concert was held in Philadelphia in December 2003.

This Day Forward reunion tickets will go on sale this Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. ET.
