Third Voodoo Dead Jazz Fest Late Night Show Added

This May, Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann will lead a series of “Voodoo Dead” performances at Republic in New Orleans during Jazz Fest. After tickets to the May 2 and 3 shows sold out with a quickness, a third show has been added on May 1 (though technically May 2 due to the late start time).

Kreutzmann will be joined by Steve Kimock, Keller Williams, Dave Schools and Jeff Chimenti for the Voodoo Dead performances. The concert is part of a celebration of 50 years of the Grateful Dead and will take place during the actual anniversary week. Look for a nod to the band’s strong New Orleans influences, such as The Meters.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 6 at 11 a.m. CT via Ticketweb.
