Third Man Records Vault Package #30 Features The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather & More

Third Man Records has shared details of its Vault Package #30 that features recordings by several of founder Jack White’s projects. The final Third Man Records Vault Package of the year is the label’s first such offering that includes two full LPs.

One of the records is Live At Disgraceland – From Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown and it is made up of recordings made at White’s The Dead Weather band mate Alison Mosshart’s home in Nashville – also known as “Disgraceland.” The album was culled from a recent episode of CNN’s Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown and captures three songs performed by The Dead Weather marking their first full live set since 2012 and first public performance since last year’s appearance on The Late Show. Also included are three songs performed that night by local guitarist William Tyler and Mosshart’s other band The Kills.

The second LP celebrates the 10th anniversary of the first U.S. concert performed by White’s group The Raconteurs. White can be heard in concert with Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler from a show at Irving Plaza in New York City on April 7, 2006. The live recording features original songs such as “Steady, As She Goes,” “Broken Boy Soldier” and “Hands,” along with covers like “A House Is Not A Motel” by Love and “Headin’ For The Texas Border” by The Flamin’ Groovies.

Third Man Records Vault Package #30 also comes with a limited edition 7-inch single featuring White’s solo rendition of “Love Is The Truth (Acoustic Mix)” backed by The White Stripes’ “City Lights” from the recently issued Jack White Acoustic Recordings 1998 – 2016 compilation. It will be the only physical release of the single ever. Third Man Records Vault Package #30 is available to current subscribers and those who sign up for a subscription by October 31.
