They Might Be Giants expanded The Big Tour into 2025. The extensive trek will feature the band performing several two-night stands as an eight-piece ensemble delivering a different two set setlist each night.

“There are SO MANY NEW SHOWS!,” wrote TMBG co-founder John Flansburgh. “Yes, I have some big news. In addition to our December shows in Brooklyn, Boston, DC, and Philly, we are touring the Southeast and West Coast in 2025. All the two-night stands will feature RADICALLY DIFFERENT SHOWS, with the spotlight swinging to different albums, and the song selection in the rest of the sets designed to keep everybody surprised! It will be an 8-piece band with the Saturn 5 rocket that is our horn section boosting everything.

“We will be hitting: Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Nashville, Asheville, Atlanta, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Portland, Salt Lake City, Seattle! … One show in each city will be a celebration of the John Henry album. Which night will it be? We don’t even know that yet, but we can guarantee we’ll do it in Brooklyn!”

The Big Tour newly announced 2025 dates start in Florida with shows in Orlando on February 27 and Fort Lauderdale on March 1. They Might Be Giants then head to Tennessee for performances in Chattanooga on March 21 and a two-night stand in Nashville on March 22 and 23. The band continues with two-night runs in Asheville (North Carolina) on March 25 and 26 before hitting Atlanta on March 28.

May brings the group to California for multiple engagements including two nights each in San Francisco on May 9 and 10, San Diego on May 13 and 14 and Los Angeles on May 16. The tour then heads to the Pacific Northwest for a pair of shows in Portland on June 6 and 7. After a stop in Salt Lake City on June 10, the excursion wraps up with two nights in Seattle on June 13 and 14.
