The Who’s Roger Daltrey Going Semi-Acoustic For June 2024 North American Tour

The nine-date run will feature “Who gems, rarities, solo nuggets and other surprises.”

Legendary The Who frontman Roger Daltrey detailed a semi-acoustic solo North American tour. The nine-date run takes place in June with support from singer-songwriters KT Tunstall and Dan Bern at select shows.

The tour will see Daltrey “presenting a mostly acoustic set of Who gems, rarities, solo nuggets and other surprises with an intimate rock-based band,” as per a press release.

Roger’s band includes guitarist Simon Townshend, mandolinist Billy Nicholls, percussionist Jody Linscott, guitarist Doug Boyle, bassist John Hogg, violinist Katie Jacoby, harmonica player Steve Weston, keyboardist/accordion player Geraint Watkins and drummer Scott Devours.

The tour gets underway on June 12 at Vienna, Virginia’s Wolf Trap near Washington D.C ahead of a concert in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Additional Northeast stops include Bethel (New York), The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester (New York), Boston and Lenox (Massachusetts).

Daltrey begins a Midwest swing on June 25 in Detroit followed by a concert in Indianapolis. The tour comes to a close on June 29 at The Pavilion at Ravinia near Chicago.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 22 at 10 a.m. local time.
