The Who Perform A Quick One For First Time Since 1970

One week after The Who kicked off The Who Hits 50! Tour with a one-off performance in the Middle East, the legendary rockers began the British & Irish section of the tour last night at SSE Hydro in Glasgow. The big news from the night was the return of “A Quick One, While He’s Away,” which was last performed in its entirety way back in 1970. Now THAT’S a bust out.

“A Quick One, While He’s Away” contains six distinct sections over the course of nine minutes and The Who nailed each and every one of them in Glasgow. Take a listen to The Who’s performance of “A Quick One…” from last night’s show accompanied by a slide show put together by Scott Ferguson:

Other changes to last night’s setlist from the opener in Abu Dhabi were the additions of “Long Live Rock,” “Slip Kid,” “Join Together,” “Cry If You Want” and “Naked Eye.”
