The Weight Announces Fall Tour

The music of The Band lives on through The Weight which has 11 shows lined up for the fall. The five-piece ensemble which carries on where The Band left off features Jim Weider and Randy Ciarlante from The Band, Brian Mitchell and Byron Isaacs of the Levon Helm Band and Marty Grebb, who worked with Rick Danko and Richard Manuel of The Band

First up for The Weight is a hometown show at the intimate Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock on September 5. The Weight then heads to Texas for three shows between September 10 – 12. From there, the five-piece has performances scheduled in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maine, New Hampshire, Maryland, New York and New Jersey.
