The War and Treaty visited The Late Show With Stephen Colbert for an appearance shown on last night’s episode of the late-night talk show. The married couple’s passionate performance of “Mr. Fun” highlighted the song from their new album, Plus One.

Tanya Trotter and Michael Trotter released the fourth The War And Treaty album, Plus One, last Friday through Mercury Nashville. The 18-track album was primarily produced by Michael and recorded at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

“We see this record as an open invitation to be a part of what we’re doing — it came from wanting to be the hope we believe people need right now, as well as the hope that we need for ourselves,” Tanya Trotter shared.

“One of our main intentions with this album is to inspire people to share themselves with others, and open themselves up to the possibility of being loved,” added Michael Trotter.
