The String Cheese Incident has announced that they have teamed with Colorado’s Oskar Blues to produce a new SCI beer. While keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth is known for his love of beer and homebrewing, the craft brew marks the first-ever String Cheese Incident-branded beer.

Dubbed S.C.I.P.A., the beer is part of the genre-bending jam band’s 25th-anniversary celebration. The hoppy I.P.A. will be available on tap at the group’s upcoming home state Colorado runs at the Dillon Amphitheater and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. In a statement, the band noted:

A Colorado-grown collaboration celebrating the colliding of taste and sound, where roots run deep and the brews run cold! So close your eyes, take a sip, and make a joyful sound! You won’t want to wait another day for this S.C.I.P.A.

The band has also added that more information on their new craft brew will be available soon.
