The String Cheese Incident Announces Summer Tour

Once again, Colorado jam act The String Cheese Incident will spend a portion of the summer on the road. The String Cheese Incident have just announced a Summer Tour featuring over 20 shows coast to coast.
SCI will kick off the tour will their annual headlining appearance at Electric Forest in Rothbury, Michigan (June 24 – 26). From there, the band will play a pair of two-night stands at ExploreAsheville.com Arena in Asheville (July 1 – 2) and Chastain Park in Atlanta (July 3 – 4). The tour includes a previously-announced three-night stand at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in the band’s home state of Colorado (July 15 – 17) which follows performances in Cooperstown, New York (July 8); Columbia, Maryland (July 9) and Portsmouth, Virginia (July 10).
After Red Rocks, SCI brings the tour to Missoula (July 20 – 21), Redmond (July 22) and Eugene (July 23). Following a break, The String Cheese Incident concludes the tour by appearing at this summer’s Peach Music Festival in Scranton, Pennsylvania (August 12) including the debut of the Gregg Allman Incident and with their first-ever visit to Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre (August 13 – 14).
Before Summer Tour, The String Cheese Incident will head off on a March Madness Tour which begins on Thursday at Grand Sierra Summit Pavilion in Reno, Nevada ahead of a pair of shows at the Fox Theater in Oakland on Friday and Saturday. Tickets for SCI Summer Tour go on sale via SCI Ticketing on Wednesday, March 9 at 11 a.m. MT. Public on-sales take place Friday, March 11 via venue outlets. Red Rocks tickets are on sale now.
The band also revealed they are currently working on a new studio album produced by Jerry Harrison, the Talking Heads member who produced their last LP, Song In My Head. More information on the album will be announced soon.
