English folk outfit The Staves came to the NPR Music workspace for a Tiny Desk Concert. The group led by sisters Jessica and Camilla Staveley-Taylor offered songs from their new album, All Now.

All Now arrived on March 22, 2024 via Communion Music. It marked Jessica and Camilla Staveley-Taylor’s first record without their sister Emily Staveley-Taylor who is taking time to focus on her family.

“The Staves’ new album, All Now, reflects that change,” NPR Music noted, “on record and in this performance, Jessica and Camilla Staveley-Taylor quiet any qualms that they would be able to carry on the harmonies for which the group is known.”

Jessica and Camilla — along with Marcus Hamblett (guitar, bass), Rob Pemberton (piano, bass) and drummer Glyn Daniels — launched their Tiny Desk session with All Now’s “Fundamental Memory.”

The band continued with the album’s opening and title track before heading to deeper cuts with “I’ll Never Leave You Alone” and finally “So Gracefully” to seal the session.
