The Roots To Back Snoop Dogg At Roots Picnic 2014

For the seventh year in a row The Roots will present the Roots Picnic in their hometown of Philadelphia this May. The seventh annual Roots Picnic is set for May 31 at Festival Pier at Penns Landing, where The Roots will not only headline but they’ll back a hip-hop legend. 
Snoop Doog will perform at the event backed by The Roots. Other acts on this year’s bill are Janelle Monae, The War On Drugs, Action Bronson, A$ap Ferg, Araabmuzik, Rudimental, Bad Rabbits, Jhene Aiko, Just Blaze, Electric Wire Hustle, Chill Moody, Roman Gianarthur and Emily Wells. In addition, Biz Markie will play a DJ set.
Tickets for Roots Picnic 2014 go on sale this Friday at noon ET.
