The Rolling Stones Cover Bob Dylan In Rio

The Rolling Stones continued their America Latina Olé Tour last night with a show at Estádio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Among the highlights of the career-spanning performance was the fan-requested cover of Bob Dylan’s “Like A Rolling Stone.”

In typical fashion, frontman Mick Jagger led the legendary group through the show opening pairing of “Start Me Up” and “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It).” After “Tumbling Dice” and “Out Of Control,” Jagger informed the crowd that the Dylan cover had beaten out “Live With Me,” “All Down The Line” and “Shattered” for the evening’s requested song. Other hits played in Rio included “Midnight Rambler,” “Gimme Shelter,” “Sympathy For The Devil,” the set closing “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and the choir-backed “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” encore.

Footage of The Rolling Stones busting out “Like A Rolling Stone” last night in Rio for the first time since 2014 was captured by city-rausch.de and can be seen below:
