The Revivalists Share Politically Charged ‘The Long Con’ Single

The Revivalists released a new single, “The Long Con.” The song will appear on the New Orleans rockers’ upcoming album, Pour It Out Into The Night, due out on June 2 via Concord Records.
The Revivalists detailed Pour It Out Into The Night in February and shared the single “Kid” ahead of announcing an extensive 2023 North American tour. The latest new music from the band led by David Shaw is “The Long Con.”
“‘The Long Con’ is a song for the marginalized, the underrepresented and taken advantage of,” Shaw said of the new track. “It’s heartbreaking to see what’s happening in our country. I wanted to write a song that we could all sing together at our concerts, and truly feel connected and aligned. It’s a song for the people.”
