The Raconteurs unveiled “Bored & Razed,” the latest single off their forthcoming studio album. Help Us Stranger is due out on June 21 via Third Man Records.

The LP is the band’s third studio album and first since 2008’s Consolers Of The Lonely. The Raconteurs feature Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler. Help Us Stranger is being supported by a lengthy world tour that is currently underway. “Bored & Razed” opens the 12-track record.

“Yeah, I think that that first track, ‘Bored & Razed’ is very cool, because it was a instrumental for a while, we sort of jammed it out and we had so many songs cooking and Patrick Keeler, the drummer in the band said, ‘Can we please finish that song, that’s my favorite thing we’ve done,'” Benson told Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s World Record On Beats 1 earlier today. “And we almost abandoned it,” White added. “Yeah. And I’m glad he insisted, because he was the one who made us finish it, and I went out and did a vocal part, and he went out and did a vocal part for the other section, and it just seemed like it was great,” revealed Benson. “It reminded us of a song that we did called ‘Consoler of the Lonely,’ years ago-Where it was almost like, two or three songs combined, and each of our songwriting personalities is in there, as well as the whole band.”
