The New Mastersounds - TV: All Your MasterFun In 1 Place

The New Mastersounds invite fans to join their new premium content channel The New Mastersounds – TV available via Color Red Music. The subscription-based channel offers an inside look into the band’s 21-year-history alongside weekly Zoom hangs and never-before-seen professionally produced audio and video. Today, the band has released a new track “Feelin’ Frisky” available exclusively on the channel.

Since forming in Leeds, United Kingdom 21 years ago, The New Mastersounds have consistently delivered their signature style fusing funk, soul, jazz and more, making people around the globe dance in response. Guitarist Eddie Roberts, drummer Simon Allen, bassist Pete Shand and keyboardist Joe Tatton were joined by vocalist Lamar Williams Jr. on their 13th studio album, 2019’s Shake It. The album was issued by Roberts’ record label Color Red, we he founded in Denver in 2018.

Currently based in three different countries and five cities, the band’s weekly NMS-TV Zoom chats discuss tour stories and give fans an inside peek into their development of new music. Topics of their musings include pets, British crumpets, and sharing stories about their worst shows ever where they have even unveiled footage of the aforementioned performances. Fans can also witness collaborative discussions about music the band is working on with exclusive tracks to be released monthly that will be accompanied by video.

Previously released remote collaborations include “4 Walls,” “Less Is More” and “Harmony” which were debuted on Live for Live Music’s virtual festivals Quarantine Comes Alive and Democracy Comes Alive. “Less is More” launched the band’s newest member, vocalist Lamar Williams Jr.’s solo project and has garnered popularity with placements on several Spotify Editorial Playlists.

The band’s full-length documentary Coals to New Castle about their first trip to New Orleans Jazz Fest in 2007 is also available to view on the channel.
