Colorado’s own The Motet will present their sixth annual headlining concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in June. The Denver-based funk and soul ensemble will be joined by a slew of special guests including Eric Krasno whose new band — Eric Krasno & The Assembly — will kick off the action at the Morrison, Colorado venue on June 4.

Guest singers Antwaun Stanley, Jennifer Hartswick and Natalie Cressman will augment The Motet at Red Rocks with other special guests including Krasno on guitar and percussionist Jason Hann. Eric Krasno & The Assembly finds the guitarist backed by bassist/vocalist Otis McDonald, keyboardist Wil Blades, guitarist/vocalist James VIII and drummer/vocalist Curtis Kelley.

The Motet consists of drummer Dave Watts, keyboardist Joey Porter, bassist Garrett Sayers, guitarist Ryan Jalbert and multi-instrumentalist Drew Sayers. “This really is the most excited I’ve ever been about the music we are making. The time away from touring has actually brought us closer together as a group and more united in the sound we want to create,” explained Drew Sayers. “So the opportunity to bring out some of our favorite singers and players to perform with us at Red Rocks and celebrate live music is an incredible honor, and one we have been looking forward to all year.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 23 at 10 a.m. MT via AXS.com.
