The Motet recently released a live video of their new single, “We Got U.” The footage is from the Colorado funk outfit’s 2023 Halloween concert at 10 Mile Music Hall in Frisco, Colorado.
“We Got U” follows The Motet’s August 2023 single, “Natural Light,” and their January 2023 album, All Day. The Motet’s Halloween shows are always highly anticipated in Colorado and the band took the opportunity in Frisco to lay some new material on the home state audience.

On Halloween 2023, The Motet — drummer Dave Watts, bassist Garrett Sayers, keyboardist Joey Porter, guitarist Ryan Jalbert and saxophonist/keyboardist Drew Sayers had welcomed new vocalist Sarah Clark just a few months prior. The live video of “We Got U” showcases Sarah’s copious talents alongside the band’s.
