The Motet‘s set at the inaugural North Beach Music Festival (NBMF) will be a collaborative affair. Vocalist/trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band), vocalist Shira Elias (formerly of Turkuaz) and percussionist Jason Hann (The String Cheese Incident) will join the Colorado-based funk act at the new two-day event which takes place at Miami Beach’s North Beach Bandshell December 10 – 11.

The Arizona-based jam quartet will be accompanied by Eric Krasno, Marco Benevento, Alric “A.C.” Carter, Nate Werth and Brandon “Taz” Niederauer during one of their two sets. Spafford’s other set will consist entirely of improvisation.
