Travis detailed the series in a statement. Read his words below:
I started The Travis Book Happy Hour in response to the changes that swept through the entertainment industry in the spring of 2020. I needed to make music, to do something different, to reinvent myself, in a sense. I was looking for the best way to serve the music community and grow creatively and realized the opportunity was there, at The Grey Eagle in Asheville, to do something different; a variety show with musical guests, interviews, and conversation about matters of being or what to do with ourselves this life. It’s been a revelation to make music and converse with my friends and dig deeper roots here in my community in Western North Carolina. Season 2, which starts January 6th, is packed with another round of phenomenal guests that I’m thrilled to share the stage with.
