The Hudson Project On Hold This Year

Last year’s inaugural The Hudson Project was hampered by issues both within and out of the control of organizers including the cancellation of its final day due to a lightning storm. It appears the festival won’t return in 2015 according to Michael Lang, who represents the owners of Winston Farm -the Saugerties, New York property where The Hudson Project was held.

Jambands.com points out that Lang told the Saugerties Times “The Hudson Project is on hold for the moment. It’s not coming back this year.” However, Winston Farm may host another concert. “We’re talking to some other entities about this summer and should have something definitive in a couple of weeks,” Lang said. “As of right now there is not a concert planned, not saying there will not be,” Town Supervisor Greg Helsmoortel added.

The Hudson Project organizers offered attendees partial refunds following an apology that read in part, “After more than a full year of pouring our hearts and souls into creating an event that was built around the core of a positive fan experience, we know we fell short in some aspects.”
