The Fray Announces How To Save A Life: The 20th Anniversary Tour

The Fray confirmed plans to tour around the 20th anniversary of their debut album, How to Save a Life. The How to Save a Life: The 20th Anniversary Tour will hit major North American markets along with stops in the UK and Europe.

Released in 2005, How to Save a Life was an impressive debut, topping the Billboard 200 albums chart and spinning the multi-platinum single “Over My Head (Cable Car).”

“We wrote songs in our parents’ basements and our grandpa’s barn, dreaming of playing our music with the world one day,” frontman Joe King said of the era. “We never imagined that the songs from How to Save a Life would still hold new meaning 20 years later. It’s an incredible honor to celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary on tour this summer. We can’t wait to perform these songs and share their stories with you. Come sing with us—we’ll see you soon!”

The North American portion of the How to Save a Life: The 20th Anniversary Tour, with direct support from The Strike, kicks off on July 25 in Dallas before heading to Austin on July 26 and Houston on July 27. The band will then travel to Orlando for a performance on July 29, followed by a show in Atlanta on July 30.

August begins with a stop in Washington D.C. on August 1, then continues in Philadelphia on August 2, Boston on August 3 and New York on August 5. The tour moves to Toronto on August 7 before hitting Detroit on August 8 and Cleveland on August 9.

Nashville will host the band on August 12, with a performance in Indianapolis on August 14 and a show in Chicago on August 15. Minneapolis follows on August 16 before the band heads west to Seattle on August 19 and Portland on August 20. The North American tour wraps up in California with stops in Oakland on August 22 and Los Angeles on August 23.

Following various presales, tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 21 at 10 a.m. local.
