The Decemberists Added To Newport Folk Festival Lineup

Currently in the midst of an extensive tour, The Decemberists have added another show to their itinerary, making a return to the Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island Saturday, July 25. Founded in 1959, the Newport Folk Festival will be held at Fort Adams State Park Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26. 


The Decemberists join a growing Newport lineup that currently includes Iron & Wine and Ben Bridwell, First Aid Kit, Sturgill Simpson, J Mascis, Blake Mills, Courtney Barnett and many more, with still others to be added. Check out the Newport entry in the newly redesigned JamBase Festival Guide.
