Les Claypool and Sean Lennon will issue their sophomore full-length album South Of Reality via ATO Records on February 22, 2019. The pair shared “Blood And Rockets,” the LP’s first single and announced a three-show New Year’s Run.

South Of Reality was produced by both Claypool and Lennon and engineered and mixed by the Primus bassist at his Rancho Relaxo facility in California’s Sonoma County. The pair wrote and produced the album over a two-month period as per Rolling Stone. Claypool told Rolling Stone the sessions were prompted by “the desire to sit in a room and make space sounds again.” Listen to the single “Blood And Rockets (Movement I, Saga of Jack Parsons – Movement II, Too The Moon)” below:

The Claypool Lennon Delirium will follow an appearance at this weekend’s Hangtown Music Festival with a three-show New Year’s Run. Les and Sean will kick off the run at The Observatory in San Diego on December 28 and then play The Observatory in Santa Ana on December 29. The band rings in 2019 on New Year’s Eve at The Fillmore in San Francisco. A presale begins on Thursday, October 25 with tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, October 26.
