The Beta Band Gets Back Together For 1st Show Since 2004
The Scottish group kicked off their reunion tour Thursday at Barrowland in Glasgow.

The Beta Band got back together last night to play their first public concert in 21 years. The Scottish group consisting of Richard Greentree, Robin Jones, John Maclean and Steve Mason kicked off their reunion tour with a performance at Barrowland in Glasgow.
The Beta Band is celebrating their noteworthy 1998 compilation, The Three E.P.’s, which recently received another reissue. The opening night setlist focused on songs from The Three E.P.’s, along with selections from their 1999 self-titled album, 2001’s Hot Shots II and 2004’s Heroes To Zeros.
The Beta Band’s reunion tour continues with another show tonight at Barrowland, followed by several shows in England. The North American leg of the tour begins in Vancouver on October 12.
