The Avett Brothers Cover George Harrison On ‘The Late Show’

Last night The Avett Brothers were the musical guests on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The Americana outfit performed a special Inauguration Day cover of a beloved song by late The Beatles guitarist George Harrison.

The Avetts offered a rendition of George’s “Give Me Love, Give Me Peace On Earth” during their appearance at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. Harrison originally released the poignant song as the lead track on his 1973 Living in the Material World LP.
