The Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach is keeping his band The Arcs going with a newly confirmed run of dates set for this coming April. The group featuring Auerbach with Leon Michels, Richard Swift, Homer Steinweiss, Nick Movshon, Kenny Vaughan and Mariachi Flor de Toloache also recently dropped into NPR Music headquarters in Washington D.C. to perform a Tiny Desk Concert which can be seen below.

The new tour dates find Auerbach and crew making their way from Vancouver, British Columbia down the U.S. western coastline with stops in Seattle, Portland and six gigs in California – including both Coachella weekends. From the their they head to Denver, Lawrence, St. Louis, Austin and New Orleans where they will wrap the tour at the House of Blues on April 30. Information regarding tickets for the new shows can be found on the band’s website.

For a small (pun intended) sample of The Arcs performing live, below is their three-song Tiny Desk Concert for the long-running NPR video series. The taping was the 500th Tiny Desk Concert recorded since 2008 at the desk of All Songs Considered host Bob Boilen, watch:
