The Antlers and Okkervil River are hitting the road again for another co-headlining tour. The 12-city June 2025 run follows their shared 2024 joint dates that saw Okkervil River’s Will Sheff and The Antlers’ Peter Silberman performing “solo” and collaborating together.
Sheff shared the statement below regarding the June excursion:
“I spent a good chunk of last year tooling around in a combined bill with The Antlers playing songs, old and new and joining forces to play each other’s songs. We sped around North America and Europe, recording, each show every night for posterity, and when it was over we were very sad. So, we decided we’d take the bill for one more spin this summer, hitting some of the towns we’d passed over previously, and then finally put a lid on this thing.
“Please join us for one last night together before we split off in separate directions (and keep your ear out for a document that will capture the fruits of our labors).”
Silberman added:
“It’ll be just like the good old days (last year) – Michael Lerner and I will do a set as a duo, Will Sheff and Julian Cubillos will do a set as Okkervil River, and then the four of us will come together to become Okklers or Antlervil or whatever you’d like to call it and we’ll play a final set together as a four-piece.
“Loved doing so many of these shows last year and psyched we get to do it one last time.”
