Earlier this year, The Antlers teamed with Okkervil River for a tour. While in Seattle, the musicians stopped by KEXP Studios for a collaborative six-song set.

The tour saw Okkervil River’s Will Sheff and The Antlers’ Peter Silberman performing “solo” and collaborating toward the end of the show. The lineup also featured longtime Antlers drummer Michael Lerner and bassist/guitarist Julian Cubillos.

The Live on KEXP session opened with The Antlers’ “Parade” off their 2015 LP, Familiars. Sheff and Cubillos (on acoustic guitar) then offered “Evidence” from Okkervil River’s 2022 record, Nothing Special.

The set continued with the quartet on The Antlers’ “Ahimsa” followed by the 2005 Okkervil River single “For Real.” The title track to The Antlers’ 2021 album Green To Gold came next ahead of Okkervil River’s 2008 song “Lost Coastlines” to seal the session.
