Thad Cockrell and his band were joined by The New Respects for the version of “Fill My Cup” featured in the video below. 5folds creative directed the new video.

“I make things up for a living. But I’m not making this up. ‘Fill My Cup’ came to me in the middle of the night in a lucid dream through the voice of Johnny Cash,” Cockrell told JamBase. “When The New Respects crew sang the background vocals, I told them I wanted the ‘fill my cup’ to sound more like a demand than a plea. We all have our mountaintops to experience. This song was written for a friend that was walking through a tough spot. I wanted to give her a song to sing her way out of it.”
