Tennesssee Schools Receive $176K Worth Of Instruments From Widespread Panic

Georgia jam act Widespread Panic created the Tunes For Tots Foundation to support music education. The band recently donated $176,898 through Tunes For Tots to a pair of band programs in Shelby County, Tennessee.

WREG reports, Panic donated new instruments to both Cummings School and Raleigh-Egypt Middle and High School. “Our district believes in high quality arts education for all students, and amazing partners like the Tunes for Tots Foundation and Widespread Panic help us provide more resources so we can continue to create incredible opportunities for our students,” reads a note posted on the district’s Facebook page.
