They Still Believe: Watch Tenacious D Get Down To Their Cover Of Britney Spears’ ‘Baby One More Time’
See JB and KG show off some moves to their version of the pop star’s 1998 hit.

Tenacious D recently shared a clip featuring the dynamic duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass dancing to their cover of Britney Spears’ “…Baby One More Time,” as Consequence reported. The full D rendering of the pop star’s 1998 hit appears in the credits of the upcoming animated movie Kung Fu Panda 4, which is in theaters Friday.
Jack Black has voiced the lead character Po Ping throughout the Kung Fu Panda franchise. For the fourth installment, JB pitched director Mike Mitchell on doing a Britney Spears song. “And he said that he wanted ‘…Baby One More Time’ because it’s kind of in the vein of Kung fu,” Black said at the Kung Fu Panda premiere, as per People.

Entertainment Tonight asked Black if he had a message for Britney after the “…Baby One More Time” clip went viral.
“Britney, if you’re watching, I love you. I love the song … We’re very proud of [the cover]. I hope you like it, too,” Black responded before offering his services on a collab with Spears.
“I’m here! I’m ready when you are. I’m waiting by the phone. I got kicks! I don’t quite have Britney kicks, but you know, I got some moves.”
