Tenacious D Bringing Back Festival Supreme

Last October musical comedy duo Tenacious D curated Festival Supreme -a music and comedy festival held on the Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, CA that featured such acts as Zach Galifianakis, Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman and Fred Armisen. Today, word has come down that Festival Supreme will return for a second installment this October.

Festival Supreme 2014 will take place on October 25 at L.A. Sports Arena and Exhibition Park in Los Angeles. “Yes, Festival Supreme was the comedy and music event of 2013…but we’ve improved it tenfold. Festival Supreme 2 (The Metal Years) will feature a dark carnival haunted house circus of death! A hilarious short film festival!! Improved plumbing!!! And a line up of comedians and musicians that will shake the heavens!!!! We will leave all other comedy/music festivals crying in the dust. That’s a Tenacious D promise,” said ringmasters Jack Black and Kyle Gass in a statement announcing the event. The lineup for this year’s Festival Supreme will be revealed on May 27, while tickets go up for grabs on May 30.
