Tems Goes ‘Burning’ Through ‘Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ Performance
See the Nigerian singer-songwriter perform the track off her debut LP, Born in the Wild.

Tems (Temilade Openiyi) hit the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City for a performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The Nigerian singer-songwriter offered her song “Burning” for the late night television appearance on Tuesday.
“Burning” appears on Tems’ 2024 debut LP, Born in the Wild. The record follows a Grammy-winning collaboration with Drake and Future, “Wait For U.” Tems discography also includes the EPs For Broken Ears (2020) and If Orange Was a Place (2021).

Tems has been making the media rounds of late, making her Tonight Show debut in May and recently delivering a Tiny Desk Concert as well. For her Late Show performance, Tems turned to Born in the Wild’s “Burning.”
