Temple Of The Dog Reunites At Bridge School Benefit

On Saturday, Neil & Pegi Young hosted the first of two Bridge School Benefit Concerts put together to raise funds for The Bridge School at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. With both Pearl Jam and Soundgarden on the bill, you couldn’t help but expect a reunion of the short-lived early ’90s supergroup Temple Of The Dog, which features Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell and Pearl Jam.

The expected reunion came at the end of Pearl Jam’s set as Eddie Vedder welcomed Cornell to the stage for a rendition of Temple Of The Dog’s 1991 classic “Hunger Strike.” Cornell’s appearance with his former band mates was the first Temple Of The Dog reunion since Pearl Jam’s 20th anniversary concerts at Alpine Valley in 2011.
