Telluride Bluegrass Festival Announces Initial 2018 Lineup

The 2018 Telluride Bluegrass Festival will be held on June 21 – 24 in Telluride, Colorado. Organizers have confirmed the first round of musicians headed to the Rocky Mountains next summer for the 45th annual event.
The 2018 Telluride Bluegrass Festival lineup features the Sam Bush Band, Sturgill Simpson, Emmylou Harris, The Del McCoury Band, Yonder Mountain String Band, Greensky Bluegrass and Leftover Salmon. The slate of performers also includes I’m With Her featuring Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz and Aoife O’Donovan and The Telluride House Band made up of Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Bryan Sutton, Stuart Duncan and Edgar Meyer. There will also be a performance by Meyer with fellow renowned bassist Christian McBride and Peter Rowan will appear with The Free Mexican Air Force featuring Flaco Jimenez. Mandolin player Chris Thile will perform solo and with Punch Brothers, as well as host a live broadcast of his weekly radio program Live From Here.
