We’re approaching three years since the release of the last Tedeschi Trucks Band album, Made Up Mind, in 2013. Thankfully, it won’t be long until Derek and Susan release the long-awaited follow-up as what appears to be a sample of the new LP has been shared through the band’s social feeds.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Derek Trucks revealed the album is titled Let Me Get By and is set for an early 2016 release. A short audio clip was posted to both Instagram and Facebook with the caption “Track 1: Anyhow.” Take a listen:

Derek Trucks recently described the album in the interview with Rolling Stone. “It’s more adventurous sonically and in some of the places it goes musically. It’s more of an extension of what we were doing with my solo group but evolved in a different group. I heard the record for the first time last night, with everything mixed, and I feel like I can see everybody — everybody’s personality in the band — a lot more [laughs]. It feels like hanging on the tour bus,” Trucks said.
