Tedeschi Trucks Band Shares Videos Featuring Jon Batiste & Warren Haynes Collaborations

Tonight, the Tedeschi Trucks Band begin their annual series of shows at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. Recently, the band shared a pair of videos showing off two collaborations from past runs at the Upper West Side venue.

Up first is footage From the TTB’s October 2, 2015 performance at the Beacon featuring an incredible keyboard jam during “Bound For Glory.” The video shows off the handiwork of the Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Kofi Burbridge, who is expected to rejoin the group tonight, along with special guest Jon Batiste. The second clip contains professionally-shot video of Warren Haynes leading the Tedeschi Trucks Band on the blues standard “Preachin’ Blues.” Warren joined the TTB for five songs on October 7, 2016 starting with “Preachin’ Blues” and continuing on with “Keep On Growing,” “Soul Serenade,” “It Hurts Me Too” and “Had To Cry Today.” Watch video of “Preachin’ Blues”:

In addition to tonight’s performance, the Tedeschi Trucks Band will play the Beacon on October 7, 10, 11, 13 and 14. This run marks the group’s seventh annual residency at the theater. While most of this year’s shows are sold out, tickets remain for tonight and for October 10.
