Tedeschi Trucks Band Closes Out Capitol Theatre Run – Full Show Pro-Shot Video, Photos & Setlist

The Tedeschi Trucks Band brought a two-night, sold-out run at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York to a close on Wednesday night. Vocalist Amy Helm and her band opened the concert with recent addition Tash Neal standing out with his guitar work on a rendition of Bruce Springsteen’s “Atlantic City.” With Helm kicking off the evening, the TTB played one long set. Susan Tedeschi led the group through one of their newest songs, “Shame” to open. Tedeschi was overcome by emotion towards the beginning of a “Midnight In Harlem” that was one of the highlights of the show thanks to Susan’s powerful vocals and Derek Trucks’ spine-tingling solo.

Derek and Susan’s band continued a trend of honoring Scott Boyer at recent shows by performing “All My Friends” from the late musician and songwriter’s time in Cowboy. Next up was the Four Tops’ classic “Loving You Is Sweeter Than Ever” and the traditional “Will The Circle Be Unbroken?” The TTB’s set rolled on with “Bound For Glory” and their medley of John Prine’s “Angel From Montgomery” and the Grateful Dead’s “Sugaree.” After ending the set with “I Want More,” the group presented Sly & The Family Stone’s “Sing A Simple Song” and “I Want To Take You Higher” as the encore.
