Teddy Swims Ponders ‘Are You Even Real’ With Givēon On Sultry New Single

Teddy Swims (Jaten Dimsdale) shared a new single, “Are You Even Real,” featuring Giveon. The track is set to appear on Teddy Swims’ new album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2), out on January 24 via Warner Records.

I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2) follows Teddy Swims breakout debut LP, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1). That record spun the hit singles “Lose Control” and “The Door” and led to a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.

Teddy Swims previously previewed I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2) with the single “Bad Dreams.” The album sees guest turns from Muni Long, Coco Jones and GloRilla as well as Grammy-nominated R&B artist Givēon, who appears on the latest Part 2 single, “Are You Even Real.”

“I’m in love with a perfect woman and I am so lucky that sometimes it feels too good to be true!” Dimsdale said of the new track. “I’m so grateful to have my dear friend GIVĒON on ‘Are You Even Real’ with me! He is a once-in-a-generation talent, I’m trying to get this man to do a whole record with me!”

“This song came together in such a natural way and it shows,” Givēon added. “The music, the lyrics, Teddy, and myself. It’s one that makes you replay it over and over. Excited to finally share it with the world.”
