TAUK Shares ‘Checkmate’ Video

TAUK will release a new studio album Shapeshifter II: Outbreak on September 28. The quartet shared the video for “Checkmate” off the follow-up to early-2018’s Shapeshifter I: Construct.

Producer Robert Carranza once again was behind the board for Shapeshifter II. The group enlisted Zack Bernstein to direct the video for “Checkmate.”

“This is our first real look into the Shapeshifter universe,” TAUK guitarist Matt Jalbert stated. “It’s creepy, funny, bizarre, there are elements of sci-fi … all ingredients that can be heard and felt in the music.”
