TAUK shared pro-shot video of their New Year’s Eve show opening set before Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s Electric Kool-Aid Asheville Test at ExploreAsheville.com Arena in Asheville, North Carolina. Members of TAUK would also join PPPP for a number of Kool & The Gang classics.
But first, TAUK kicked off their set with the groovy electronica of “Program Select” from their 2016 album Sir Nebula. The band continued with live staples “Pitter Pattern” and “CMF 9000.” “Let It Ride” and “Waver” came next ahead of the Massive Attack cover “Teardrop.” “Revenge Of Weenus” and “Friction” followed ahead of the Snoop Dogg classic “Gin & Juice” before TAUK headed back into “Friction.” The band closed their set with “Collateral” from their 2014 album Collisions.
TAUK unveiled their set yesterday with keyboardist Alric “A.C.” Carter conducting a live chat during the premiere. Check out the entire set filmed and edited by MK Devo below:
